Pierre Amadieu Vacqueyras “La Graneliere” 2005

Grown on sandy and gravelly terraces below the Dentelles, this is a robust wine with good fruit and soft tannins. It is made to be drunk whilst reasonably young and is perfectly suited to a good leg of lamb.

Stephen Tanzer rates this wine as 90-93 pts.

“Ruby-red. Spicy red berry and cherry aromas, with a bright mineral streak. Focused and pure, with bright raspberry and strawberry flavors. This delightfully crisp, balanced Vacqueyras finishes with excellent length and delineation.”

To drink now to 2012.
