Whole Turkey

Cooking times:

Under 6 kg turkey – 30 minutes per kg, plus 15 minutes

Over 6 kg turkey – 20 minutes per kg, plus 10 minutes

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Place turkey on a rack and pour 1 cup of water into pan. Cover turkey with foil to avoid drying out, removing foil for last 45 minutes of cooking time. Bake for required time. Let turkey rest for 15 minutes before carving.
