Fauchon
One of the best known food shops in Paris, similar in stature to Fortnum & Mason in London, almost accorded national treasure status. Founded in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon, there are now many Fauchon stores in France, as well as worldwide, but the flagship store is located on the place de la Madeleine in the 8e arrondissement of Paris.
Seriously upscale in every way, Fauchon is the ideal place in which to pick up a gift for the foodie in your life (especially if that person happens to be you).
